Tucson Japanese School is now accepting enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year.
We welcome children from Japanese-speaking families who are interested in learning Japanese language and culture, as well as adults who would like to study Japanese.
【Class selection 】 ・Oyako Class・Japanese Heritage Language Class・Japanese as a Second Language Class
【Location】Campus of International School of Tucson, 1701 East Seneca Street, Tucson, AZ 85719. (Please do not contact the host school regarding Tucson Japanese School.)
【Day & Time】Saturdays, 9:00–11:00 AM 25 class days per year

All new and returning students must complete the registration process through the page above.
If you are registering siblings, please submit a separate form for each student. If your child is a returning student but will not continue this year, please let us know by email.

Save the date! J-pop/Anime song Skate Night with DJ Key Blue
Join us for a first-of-its-kind event in Tucson on Thursday April 30th 2026 at 6pm at Skate county! The Tucson Japanese School invites families, friends and community members of all ages to a J-pop and Anime-themed skate night featuring with DJ Key Blue. Attendees are encouraged to come in cosplay or Japanese fashion and participate in a raffle featuring prizes donated by local Tucson businesses. Tucson Japanese School started as a Tucson Japanese Language School, LLC was founded in August 2015 by two parents, Hitomi and Minami with help with other volunteer parents in hopes to provide immersive learning experience of Japanese language, culture and tradition
for their children and their peers.
