If you are looking for an opportunity to use and improve your Japanese skills, this is the right place for you! Tucson Nihongo Café is designed for adults to develop speaking ability and have fun speaking in Japanese with others who share a love for Japanese culture and language. There are two options.
In-person Conversation group
Cheering on everyone who wants to practice their Japanese conversation skills in the new fiscal year, we are excited to announce our in-person Nihongo Cafe, held every Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00. Each two-hour session starts from just $7.50. Please note that this is not a formal Japanese class or lesson. Instead, it's a casual conversation group where native Japanese volunteers select a topic for each session and chat with participants.

Online Group
An online group was made possible by collaborating with volunteers from Anjo City, Aichi, Japan. Participants from Japan are all volunteers who are also seeking to improve their English skills. All of our formats are based on mutual exchange and conversation, allowing you to share your knowledge and forge meaningful connections with people here in Tucson and Anjo, Japan.
